Wednesday March 17th West Virginia State University celebrates 130 years as an institution dedicated to service, access and opportunity that has transformed the lives of generations.
Join with other members of the State Family in supporting the WVSU Day of Giving Challenge with a goal to raise $300,000, the most dollars ever in one day! Every gift made between now and midnight up to $14,500 will be matched dollar for dollar in support of our students and programs.
Think about what WVSU has meant to generations of Yellow Jackets, from providing an education, preparing graduates to advance in the world, to making a positive impact on their families, communities and businesses - and then make a contribution, so the young people coming after us can have the same life changing experiences.
During the past year more than 80% of our students received scholarships, loans and grant support. Without these vital resources many students would not have been able to continue their education. A gift to the WVSU Fund or the WVSU Scholarship will help us support students throughout their educational journey at West Virginia State University and ensure that their academic and extra-curricular experiences are second to none!
