West Virginia State University Men’s Golf has partnered with the PGA Tour United Grant Program to receive funding that will increase the team’s competitive outlook in the future. United Airlines will be providing all current and active HBCU golf teams across the country with a $10,000 grant to help offset costs accrued when traveling to compete or recruit.
The team posted a 2.9 cumulative GPA during the fall term.
The funds raised through the WVSU Athletics Week of Giving will support:
- Equipment
- Travel
