Women’s Basketball 2022

West Virginia State University Women’s Basketball snapped an eight-year streak of losing seasons by finishing with an 8-8 overall record in the spring of 2021. The Yellow Jackets have made appearances in the MEC Tournament every year since joining the league in 2013.
The team posted a 2.9 cumulative GPA during the fall semester with nine of its student-athletes earning a 3.0 GPA or better.
The funds raised through the WVSU Athletics Week of Giving will support:
- Travel
- Equipment
- Recruiting
