West Virginia State University Women’s Soccer competed in its first full season as members of NCAA Division II and the Mountain East Conference in 2021. The Yellow Jackets registered an 11-7-1 overall record and 10-5-1 conference record while qualifying for the MEC Tournament with the fourth-best points total in the league table. WVSU went on a seven-match
unbeaten run in the middle of the season.
The team posted a 3.3 cumulative GPA for the fall semester with 28 (76 percent) of its
student-athletes earning a 3.0 GPA or better.
The funds raised through the WVSU Athletics Week of Giving will support:

- Equipment
- Recruiting
