Student Emergency Assistance
As we continue to support our students during this unprecedented time of crisis, West Virginia State University invites gifts to help meet urgent and emerging needs brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
A gift to the COVID-19 WVSU Emergency Fund, WVSU Food Pantry, or the WVSU Scholarship Fund are designed to help students who are facing immediate financial hardship. We are also providing assistance to students who are making plans to continue their education at WVSU this fall.
Your support will help cover urgent and long term needs that are impacting students as a result of the crisis including:
• Family/personal emergencies
• Housing and living costs
• Loss of income
• Technology needs
• Textbooks
• Transportation needs
WVSU Food Pantry
The WVSU Food Pantry assists students who experience food insecurity. During the current COVID-19 crisis requests for assistance from the Food Pantry have increased significantly. Your gift will help us keep the Food Pantry stocked to meet student needs.
WVSU Scholarship Fund
The WVSU Scholarship Fund will help meet the needs of students as they continue their education in the wake of the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
