Thank you to everyone for the ongoing gifts to the Student Emergency Assistance Fund. Because of your continuous support we have been able to award an additional $2,500 to 9 students. This brings the total number of awards given to date to 191 students with just over $52,000 raised.
Your gifts continue to help our students who are facing immediate financial hardship during this time.

Thank you to everyone for your gifts to the Student Emergency Assistance Fund. Because of your generosity we have been able to award an additional $5,750 to 28 students providing support to total of 182 students with just over $46,000 raised.
We will continue to reach out to our alumni, friends of the university and supporters as the Fall 2020 semester approaches so we can provide much needed assistance to our students.

To date we have provided emergency assistance to 154 students for a total of $39,000.

After reopening the portal for student emergency requests we have awarded an additional 25 new student emergency fund awards totaling $7,000. This brings the total number of awards given to date to 135 students for a total of $34,000.
WVSU is continuing to reach out to our alumni and supporters as we seek to provide continued needed assistance to help as many students as possible.

WVSU Student Emergency Fund to date has awarded $19,500 to 67 students and will make additional awards as monies become available. We are continuing to reach out to our alumni and supporters as we seek to provide much needed assistance to as many students as possible. On April 8th, the WVSU Foundation launched the Student Emergency Assistance campaign to support students during this unprecedented crisis. To date we have received 130 requests from students and are processing as quickly as possible. We are continuing to reach out to alumni and supporters as we seek to provide much needed assistance to as many students as possible. A special thanks to all those who have assisted in this vital effort and for continuing to make a difference in the lives of our students.
The WVSU Food Pantry assists students who are experiencing food insecurity. Eligible students must be registered for the Spring 2020 semester. Students need to complete this form to request food by Wednesdays at noon for pick up on Friday's from Noon to 1:00 pm.
